Use the Boast Rarely
After watching the best juniors in the world at Palmerston North this month, it was reinforced to me that a boast is a shot that should be used rarely. Watching these quality players just showed that they hardly ever boast, especially from the back or half court, because the ball is in transit for a much longer time. By all means use angle shots across the front, but boast as a surprise shot. You will hurt your opponent much more with the direct route!!!
