Shadow your Way To Success

 

A great exercise to do to improve your court movement and fitness is shadows. Essentially you run into the four corners or across from the T for a volley. This gives you six areas on the court to run to and play a shot. There is no ball involved, but pretend there is, and play the shot properly in your mind. You can do this with a partner or on your own with a minute in between each set of 20 shots. You just rotate the running if you are with a partner, and he can point to which corner he wants you to go to. If he is a b***ard he can send you to the front a lot! If you do three to 6 sets of these once or more a week you will move better and get fitter. And win more often!!!
