It is a great idea to crouch and get your weight on the front of your feet when you are waiting to hit, especially if your shot is weak. From this position, with your feet quite widely spread, you are ready to spring into action!!! It is too easy to stand upright and not be ready to go fast when you need to. It may mean that you can push up a little closer to the “T” as well, and put a little bit more pressure on your opponent by hitting the ball a bit earlier. Give it a go.
